The Good Folks aims to bring the very best from a modern day barbers to York.
You can find us on York's bustling Gillygate, nestled among other top quality independent businesses. Founder Jonny Hall - born in Middlesbrough - has spent the last 11 years working on his craft in Shoreditch at some of the best barbershops in London. He has brought that knowledge back North to create a unique York barbers.
At The Good Folks, we are also passionate about music that’s why there’s a playlist, curated by customers and staff, playing at all times which you can enjoy or simply grab a seat, stick the headphones on and zone out to our to record collection accompanied by complimentary, locally sourced, craft beer and other refreshments.
